Returning to In-Person Visits

As part of phase 2 of BC’s Restart Plan Naturopathic Doctors have been given the opportunity to return to clinic and offer in-person visits once again. Dr. Nicholas is pleased to welcome new and existing patient back into her office for consultations and treatments. Dr. Nicholas is continuing to offer Telemedicine as another option for patients at this time. Book online or call 604-685-1181 to schedule an in-person or virtual visit.

NEW POLICIES & PROCEDURES

Our team at Evoke Integrative Medicine has implemented a new set of policies and procedures to reduce the risk of exposure and spread of COVID-19. These guidelines have been established in accordance with the BC Centre for Disease Control (BC CDC) and are in place to protect patients, staff, and practitioners.

  • Screening – taking temperatures and doing a screening questionnaire prior to entering the clinic.

  • Hand Washing – optimal hand washing is required by both patients and practitioners prior to entering the clinic, and practitioners are required to wash their hands between each patient visit. Additional hand sanitizer stations are set up throughout the clinic.

  • Social Distancing – offering Telemedicine, modified waiting room set up, minimizing the number of staff and patients in the clinic at a given time, and we are no longer serving refreshments. Physical contact will only take place as needed to conduct a physical exam or treatment.

  • Enhanced Cleaning & Infection Control – cleaning high touch areas between patients, complete disinfection of treatment rooms between patients, plexiglass guard set up at the front desk to prevent transmission of infectious aerosol particles.

  • Reduced Exposure – patients are asked to bring no more than one personal item into the clinic (i.e. 1 bag), and to come to their appointment alone.

  • Contactless Payments – patients are asked to put their credit card on file using the secure encrypted Jane App, so that payments are completely contactless, and invoices and receipts will be emailed, not printed at this time.

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – patients are encouraged to wear their own non-medical mask, or we will provide a procedure mask upon request. The practitioner will wear a mask and gloves, and additional PPE if necessary for the treatment, or at the request of a patient.
